Invasives Removal on Sawmill Road
September 7 @ 7:30 am - 11:00 pm
Target species: Air Potato
Activity: Plant removal including vines and tubers, bagging and hauling. There is also Tallow and elephant ears that we could work on.
Location: At the dead end of Sawmill Road in High Oaks; – follow the signs to the site.
Park: At the dead end of Sawmill Road at S High Oaks Circle; do not park near the fire hydrant
Time: 7:30am-11am (come when you can, leave when you must)
Dress for the elements, sturdy waterproof shoes or boots, garden gloves and hat; also bring pruners, trowel, a shovel, bug repellent and plenty of water.
Wear your Invasives t-shirt or, if this is your first time volunteering with ITF, claim your shirt!
Other helpful tools: eye protection, hand pruners, digging trowels. The Township has some tools to loan but, if you have your own tools please bring them labeled with your name.
