Kleb Woods Hummingbird Festival

Join Precinct 4 at the 15th Annual Hummingbird Festival.
Celebrate hummingbird migration at Kleb Woods Nature Center. Enjoy games and activities for the whole family. View hummingbird banding, see live raptors from Houston Audubon, take a guided nature walk, tour the 1896 Kleb house, and more!
Heartwood member Susan Beckemeier is taking the lead on guided nature walks along one of the trails at Kleb Woods and the Heartwood booth.
Booth Attendees and Trail Guide volunteers are needed. Signs will be placed in front of stopping places where there are significant plants to talk about, and there will be a script with corresponding numbers so that even people who are unfamiliar with the trails can lead walks. Booth attendees can man the Heartwood booth.
There are three shifts, 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The event is from 9:00am to 3:00 pm, but volunteers will be needed to help with set up before and clean up after.
