Master Volunteer Entomology Advanced Training – 8 weeks, 30 hours

Tue September 3, 2024 – Tue October 29, 2024, 10 a.m. – noon — Virtual
* Every Tuesday & Thursday
* YOU MUST BE A CERTIFIED MASTER NATURALIST OR MASTER GARDENER TO TAKE THIS TRAINING!
* Over the course of 8 weeks and 30+ instructional hours, you can gain a greater understanding of entomology. Some of the topics include the identification of common insect orders, an overview of IPM, native pollinators, arachnid identification, medical/ veterinary entomology, urban entomology, and more.
* Registration includes courses provided by experts in the field of entomology, resources and guides, a certificate, and a pin
* once certification is complete (requires completion of classwork along with 20 hours focused on an entomology project).
