Memorial Park Land Bridge and Prairie Project

Date/Time: February 11, 2023 (three volunteer shifts available, see below)
Location: Memorial Park Land Bridge area (detailed parking and event station locations will be sent by our partners at Memorial Park Conservancy).
Description of Project: The Memorial Park Land Bridge and Prairie Project is a highly innovative project to create the largest wildlife bridge in Texas. It will reconnect the northern and southern halves of Memorial Park and will be a signature urban ecosystem restoration. communications. Learn more about the project.
Volunteer Duties:
- Volunteers are needed to run fun educational stations in the “Prairie Adventure Zone”. Activities will cover the ecology, environmental services, history, and culture of the coastal prairie and the project’s aim at bring back this historic habitat in Memorial Park.
- Volunteer Shifts: 7:30 am-12 pm, 11:15 am-3 pm, 2:15 pm-6:00 pm
