Sign Up for the “Native Landscapes for Birds” Class to be held on March 11th Live via Zoom
The Houston and Clear Lake Chapters of the Native Plant Society of Texas (NPSOT) offer Native Landscaping Certification Program (NLCP) classes presented live via Zoom. This volunteer-driven effort focuses on native plants for bird-friendly gardens and wildscapes.
“Native Landscapes for Birds” includes live lectures, Q&A sessions and great narrated plant walk videos filmed locally in native bird-friendly areas. This class will be held on March 11, 2023 from 9 am – 4:15 pm.

$50 – Native Plant Society of Texas (NPSOT) members; $65 – Non-members. Become a NPSOT member.
Click here for registration Instructors for this class are our bird and native plant experts: Scott Buckel, Mary Spolyar, Margaret Gnewuch, and Nancy Hannan. There is no prerequisite class or exam for this class. You will:
- Discover the relationship between birds and native plants
- Identify current threats to birds and steps to reduce them
- Learn to create bird-friendly, native plant landscapes
- Discover 50+ native plants that birds love.
