We’re excited to share an upcoming webinar featuring Jordan Kueneman, ecologist and Founder and Director of Project GNBee (Ground-Nesting Bees), a community-science initiative focused on understanding and conserving native ground-nesting bees across agricultural and managed landscapes. Here is additional information about the project: Project GNBee | iNaturalist | Instagram | Youtube

Participants will learn about:

  • The diversity and ecological importance of ground-nesting bees
  • Their role in pollinating specialty crops and supporting agricultural systems
  • The economic value of native pollination services
  • Practical methods for documenting nesting aggregations, including habitat, soil, and phenology data collection
  • How growers, land managers, extension professionals, and community members can participate in Project GNBee

This will be a great session for anyone interested in pollinator ecology, applied conservation, and monitoring approaches!
