Reestablishing Native Canopy in the Urban Landscape: A Practical Guide

Dr. Stephen T. Cook will present on urban forestry in Houston and the re-introduction of native trees to our urban canopy. Dr. Cook, CALT, LDT, is a Texas Master Naturalist and a passionate advocate of native tree reintroduction to urban forestry. He will share practical experience and tips from his efforts in the Montrose super neighborhood and discuss the benefits of different species for city projects. Join us for refreshments starting at 6:30 pm!
