Seed Packing at Memorial Park Conservancy

Background: On February 11th, the Memorial Park Conservancy will be opening up the transformative Memorial Park Land Bridge & Prairie Project here in Houston. In celebration, MPC will be hosting an interactive Biggest Picnic in Texas/Prairie Adventure Zone, full of family-friendly activities. In celebration of the Cyvia Wolff Prairie that is being established, we will be handing out native grass and wildflower seeds (harvested on local TNC prairie preserves) to guests, to take a piece of the prairie home with them.
Need: The Conservancy could use some volunteer assistance in packing these seeds into pre-printed packets. If you are in Houston and available to assist, visit the home office located at 3801 Kirby Drive, Suite 740, Houston, TX 77098, any time between 9 am-2 pm on either Wednesday, February 1st or Thursday, February 2nd.
