Spring Break Activities at Huntsville State Park

Spring Break (March 11-15) – 5 days of recreational activities

Monday-Thursday 9am-noon

Friday 6pm-8pm

  • Monday – geocaching 101, Easy one, one or two people to help get guests started.
  • Tuesday Fishing – Fishings Future is bringing their program. Volunteers for their stations could be helpful. Or people on the pier baiting and celebrating young anglers.
  • Wednesday – Canoeing- Getting waivers filled out. Issuing PFDs and Paddles, loading and unloading canoes. If you want to be out in a canoe guiding, would love it, but plenty on land as well.
  • Thursday – Birding – Issuing binoculars and guides. Pointing out what you see. Activities for kids.
  • Friday night campfire – Fire safety watch. Cook and serve Dutch oven popcorn.
