Why does preserving watershed quality matter?

What can you do to protect our local water quality?

How can you get involved in your community, and help others to take action?

Ongoing training class qualify you to achieve Certification as a Texas Waters Specialist while learning about local water Eight hours class time is required.

Volunteer opportunities provide the 10 hours to re-certify annually and help meet requirements of Texas Master Naturalist.

  • Install markers on storm drain inlets
  • Teach others about aquatic habitat
  • Hang water quality info cards on doors
  • Conduct litter collections and audits
  • Make presentations to local groups
  • Hand out dog waste bags
