Want to suggest a new advanced training opportunity?
Who: Texas Stream Team
Where: The Woodlands Show on map
NOTE: You must be at least 14 years of age to attend this training. Any minors (under the age of 18) planning on attending this training must have a parental guardian present with them at the training.
Texas Stream Team’s Riparian Evaluation Citizen Scientist Training certifies Texans to assess the health of waterways based on evaluating the landscape bordering water bodies – known as riparian areas. To limit the duration of the live virtual training, this training will require a prerequisite online 1.5-hour module, which must be completed before the day of the virtual live training.
Environmental Services will host a Riparian Ecosystem Assessment Training from 9am to 1pm with first couple hours of the class here at our Environmental Services office campus, 8203 Millennium Forest Drive. (Class is in the Multipurpose Room of the Aquatics Bldg, so as you reach the end of the street on Millennium Forest, turn Right into the gate on your right, and immediately turn Right again to park in the lot at the back of the Aquatics Bldg. Use the door at the very back of the building on that side to enter the meeting room.)
