TRAILS AND TREATS!!
Lauren Hollenbeck with Lake Houston Wilderness Park
is looking for volunteers to help out with an event on October 28th.
They are expecting around 600-700 participants at this event.
Volunteers are needed to help with educational night hikes. Tables are set up throughout the trail with information on various topics. Educators and helpers are needed to sign up for the following tables:

What:
The Lake Houston Wilderness Park’ Trails and Treats Event is a family friendly event for people of all ages. It includes tent or treating from our local scouts, so bring a goodie bag! There will also be tents with information from other organizations, live animal encounters, scavenger hunts, a hay ride, and games. We will be bringing back the two separate night hikes. The first hike is an educational family friendly hike suitable for all ages. There is an option for a spooky hike extension from the first hike and is for ages 10 and over only.
