Presented by the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library, Dallas
Our guest speakers are from Canada, and they will present online from Wood Buffalo National Park providing information about the amazing Whooping Crane, a Texas bird.
Please attend this program virtually or in person at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library. Whooping Cranes are the come back kids, but it has been a slow come back since the 1940s when there were just 21 Whooping Cranes in North America. Anything we can do to keep our environment healthy, and the stormwater, wetlands, and Trinity River areas clean and pollution free will benefit them on their arduous 2500-mile journey from northern Alberta, Canada to the coastal marshes of Texas.
Presented in partnership with the Dallas Public Library, register today at the link below or at dallascityhall.com and select City Calendar from the Home Page.
