Our August speaker is Dr. Mark Merriweather, Vorderbruggen, Ph.D. He will present Wild Spices – A Way to Add a Taste of Native Texas to Your Table. Dr. Vorderbruggen is a preacher of cavemanosity, and he is forever trying to help people’s health by teaching them what their bodies need based on their ancient evolution. This has led to books, magazine articles, hundreds of interviews, and nearly one thousand speaking engagements over the last 20 years. When not doing that, he still creates nature-based products for companies ranging from snack foods to painting chemicals.  Dr. Vorderbruggen will talk about foraging and how we can discover spice and seasonings from Texas natives in our meals.
