Join Martin DeVore to learn about our most elusive, native feline, the bobcat. These nocturnal cats roam a wide range of habitats throughout North America and hunt a diverse selection of prey. Learn about their history Afterwards, take a self-guided wander into the woods to see what evidence you might be able to find of these wild felids.

WEEKEND WILDLIFE: WESTERN DIAMONDBACK RATTLESNAKE

Join Martin DeVore to learn about one of the nine species of rattler in Texas, the diamondback rattlesnake. Meet “Pablo,” our resident rattler at the nature center. WILDLIFE WEDNESDAY: ALLIGATOR SNAPPING TURTLES

Did you know that alligator snapping turtles are the largest freshwater turtles in the world? Join Martin DeVore to meet “Bowser,” our resident alligator snapping turtle and learn about this endangered species.
