Wildscaping Lecture at Jesse Jones Park

August 27, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Jones Park is offering a free wildscaping lecture on Saturday, August 27, from 10 a.m. to noon. Our guest presenter, Lauren Simpson, is a member of the Native Plant Society of Texas and the North American Butterfly Association. Her talk will cover what a wildscape is, the environmental issues that create a need for wildscaping, and how to turn your home garden into a wildscape. The program will include native seed and plant giveaways, as well as a look around the park’s native flower beds for some inspiration.

There is no cost to attend but registration is required.
