We are pleased to invite you for a special webinar on Recovering America’s Wildlife Act on October 17th between 12PM and 1PM Central. You will learn how this bill might impact your city and help reverse America’s Wildlife Crisis. More than a third of America’s wildlife is at risk of extinction with even once common species now in steep decline. An exciting bipartisan bill in the U.S. Congress is making headway and will address this crisis by providing $1.4 billion to states and tribes focused on preventing wildlife from becoming endangered. This investment could help cities partner with their state wildlife agencies on species and habitat restoration as well as associated education and recreation to get more kids and adults outdoors.
- Naomi Edelson, Senior Director for Wildlife Partnerships with the National Wildlife Federation and the campaign manager for Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, will share about the wildlife crisis, the solution, and how you can help.
- Richard Heilbrun, Conservation Outreach Program Leader at the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, will share case studies from the leading state agency wildlife program in the nation.
