The City Nature Challenge is underway!

April 25, 2020 by

Need an excuse to get out this weekend and see some nature?  Don’t forget the City Nature Challenge is underway and continues until Monday, April 27.  Use the iNaturalist App on your mobile device to document the plants and wildlife you find.  Here are some resources from The Nature Conservancy in case you need more information:

PLEASE REMEMBER SAFETY: Please remember to only participate in the City Nature Challenge (physically) with the folks that you are sharing your quarantine (your QuaranTeam) time with. In other words, continue to follow all national, state, and local guidance around social distancing so we can all flatten the curve and keep everyone safe. We encourage you to post information about the City Nature Challenge to platforms like Nextdoor app or website, Facebook, or Twitter but make sure to first visit and read this Covid-19 Safety link and always share this safety link in your posting. Also remember to include the hashtag #backyardchallenge into your post. Thank you!
