Our volunteers help with projects all across Montgomery County, Walker County and the surrounding areas. Some of our partner sites are Mercer Botanic Gardens, The Woodlands Environmental Services, W.G. Jones State Forest, Jesse Jones Nature Center, Montgomery County Preserve, Lake Houston Park, Sam Houston National Forest, Lone Star Hiking Trail, Lake Livingston and Kleb Woods Nature Center.
Monthly Chapter Meetings – Typically held the second Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at Sam Houston State University, Woodlands Campus, 3380 College Park Dr, The Woodlands . Schedule may vary due to special events or field trips.
Our chapter meetings are in person but often also have a virtual option for those who need to attend online. An invitation link to the meeting is published in the Heartwood Bulletin the Monday before the meeting.
