Lunch & Learn: Uncovering the Unusual Pollinators of a Rare Texas Plant

March 16 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Texas prairie dawn is a rare and endangered plant species found only in East Texas. In this presentation, Julia Freeman, a graduate student from the University of Illinois, will describe the many methods researchers use to study the relationships between rare plants and their pollinators—and the unexpected insects she has found on Texas prairie dawn. Join us to learn why rare plants matter and what you can do to support native plants and insects.
