Consider Bayou Preservation Association’s Resiliency At-Home Summer Workshop Series. This free, hands-on program will focus on nature-based solutions that benefit both neighborhoods and bayous. Master Gardener Robin Kendrick Yates will lead two workshops on the third Saturday of June and July, and Master Gardener Teresa See will lead the final session on the third Saturday of August from 10 am to noon, all at the Magnolia Multi-Service Center, East End District, 7307 Capital St. Register at https://www.bayoupreservation.org/event.


Sat., Aug. 16: Rainwater Harvesting. Explore the benefits of water conservation and discover how to establish rainwater harvesting in your backyard to reduce runoff and support healthy bayous.
