Ranch Management University
Join Texas A&M for the David McKnight ’73 Ranch Management University. This course is a critical educational initiative designed to help new and inexperienced landowners understand the fundamentals of natural resource management. Through applied learning and foundational information, the program empowers participants to make financially sound decisions, optimize land productivity, and maximize long term stewardship. By putting the pieces together, landowners gain practical knowledge they can take back to their piece of Texas and apply with confidence. This course is offered twice a year. Cost is $525 for 4.5 days and includes a light breakfast and lunch on full days and supper each evening.

- Texas Agricultural Laws – Key regulations every landowner should know
- Cattle Management – Breeds, care, nutrition, and marketing insights

- Wildlife Management – For conservation and property tax valuation
- Aquaculture – Pond maintenance, vegetation, and fish population management
