You don’t want to miss TBBA’s Bear Chat with Amanda M. Veals Dutt, PhD. Amanda is a Carnivore Specialist and Research Scientist at Borderlands Research Institute. Her research in the Trans-Pecos in regard to management decisions and habitat conservation will help serve as a guide when black bears returen to East Texas. At our last Annual Meeting, Amanda shared her experience working with black bears in West Texas and will giving us an update. I hear it’s bear-y good news!

We will also touch on the East Texas Bear that made the news around Rusk County and our upcoming Annual Meeting in January.
