Time to Restore-Texas

July 2 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Anyone with an interest in Texas native plants, their many pollinators and how we can all be better informed about the impact of climate change on our various pollinator restoration efforts is invited to participate in this free event!  Please get involved with this important community science project and help better inform those working on pollinator restoration across the south central USA!
The “Time To Restore” project, led by the USA-NPN and covering Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Louisiana, seeks to generate better information about nectar availability and seed timing to better help those working on pollinator restoration know what to plant and when best to harvest seed.
Description
During this Time to Restore monthly call we will provide training, resources, and other information to assist observers in collecting data on nectar plant phenology. The July call will provide an orientation to the project and how to participate. The August, and September calls will provide a presentation on the data collected so far with training on how to improve data quality. All calls will provide an opportunity for you to ask questions.
