AT: Aboard Research Vessel Katy

The RV Katy is a 57-foot research vessel equipped with scientific equipment that will be used during the field trip. Participants will observe and learn about the bay ecosystem, and the different types of plants and animals present at different trophic levels. We will cover plankton, benthic, and pelagic species identification, adaptations, and morphology. Participants will have the opportunity to assist the Naturalist leading the program and get hands-on experience with all the samples brought on board.
