AT: Plant ID at Lake Corpus Christi SP

This AT opportunity will also include a VSP opportunity.

Objectives:

• To implement the use of a dichotomous key for plant family identification
• To identify and learn about 25 native plants of the park
• To begin to identify the habitat of plants with the soil in which they grow
• To begin to recognize a plant as an understory or open area plant
• To explore plant adaptations of plants growing on rocky terrain
• To add to a list of early blooming plants in the park
