Oso Bay Wetlands Workshop: Birding By Ear!

Advanced Training:

Birding by Ear! – Learn to identify local bird songs

• Two part workshop!

• Friday night’s session will be an indoor talk about tips and techniques for picking out specific bird calls. We’ll use recorded local examples.

• Saturday morning will be a guided walk to practice your new skills on our nature trails.

• Participants should wear good walking shoes, bring plenty of water, and possibly a small camp chair to carry, and dress for the weather.

• This program is $2 per person and open to individuals and families with children 12 years old and up. All children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. Registration includes both times.

• Binoculars and field guides will be provided to use during the program.
