Oso Bay Wetlands Workshop: Harte Research Institute, Wetlands at Work

Advanced Training: the Harte Research Institute will present, “Wetlands at Work”.

“At the Center for Sportfish Science and Conservation, our focus is on fish species important to the Gulf of Mexico. Our research on sportfish, such as red snapper and sharks, includes studying their biology as well as their preferred habitat – from seagrass beds to offshore artificial reefs. Our goal is to provide science that helps protect sportfish in the Gulf for future generations.”

This presentation series is intended for young students interested in coastal, marine or environmental science as a future area of study or career.
