Seashore Learning Academy at Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve
Volunteer Opportunity! Help is needed with a fun group of 60 4th graders from the Seashore Learning Academy coming to the preserve for a field trip about plants!
Caleb could sure could use some help! They are going to do:
a) a transpiration activity – which involves placing baggies over leaves while tree is in the sun to capture transpiration water.
b) a plant scavenger hunt where kids will report back on what plants they find using a list of descritpions
c) a guided plant sensory and ID walk – which is exactly like it seems, this is more of your traditional, guided walk with givbing cool information. They have a worksheet to fill out during the walk.
