Surfrider Foundation Meeting: Discussion on Marine Debris

Advanced Training Opportunity: Marine debris discussion at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.  Researchers to discuss plastic trash in the waters and on the beaches of Corpus Christi.

At the next meeting of the Surfrider Foundation, five graduate students in the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Life Sciences Department and Physical & Environmental Sciences Department will give presentations summarizing their ongoing research about plastics in the local marine environment.  The meeting will be from 6-8 pm in Room #1003 of the Carlos Truan Natural Resources Center Building on the Texas A&M Corpus Christi campus. The meeting is free and open to the public.  Free pizza and drinks as long as they last!
