Texas Botanical Gardens Camp- Exploring Birds and Reptiles

Volunteer Opportunity! Help out with the Botanical Gardens Summer Camp!

I am Sandy Anderson and will be teaching camp at South Texas Botanical Gardens this summer.   I am looking for volunteers to help.   Texas Botanical Gardens Camp is an 8 week  program,  Monday-Friday from 8:45 am – 12:00 pm.  Each camp lasts one week.  Camps include children ages 7-13.   During the camp, we will hike through the nature trails, enjoy interactive activities, nature crafts, and more.  Every morning I like to take the children on a hike and then hit the playground.  We do this first thing, weather and mosquitoes permitting.

I am looking for volunteers who would like to help out during our camp, especially during  T-shirt painting days, Wednesday and Thursday.  Actually, any day is just perfect!  Please call or text me, Sandy, at 361-815-8234.
