Welder Wildlife Refuge Christmas Bird Count

Volunteer Opportunity!  Christmas Bird Count at the Welder Wildlife Refuge.  This is a good opportunity for avid birders and novices to work together.  If you want to begin bird counts, but are not skilled at birding, you can be a recorder.  You will learn to bird from skilled birders.  We work in teams.  All are welcome.  Water, snacks, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, warm or cold weather apparel (you never know) and  a good sense of humor will be required.
