The International Crane Foundation is holding its first annual Cleanup for the Cranes event this year in collaboration with CBBEP and Goose Island State Park. The event is meant to showcase UTMSI to residents of Port A and surrounding areas. This carnival-type event will include activities, live music, lab demos, and boat excursions. We pick up litter, trim overgrowth, remove invasive plants, plant native plants, socialize, botanize, and birdwatch. It's fun! Hours change with the seasons.
