This yearβs theme, “Getting to Your Roots: The Soil Food Web,” features keynote speaker Jeff Lowenfels, a renowned leader in the organic gardening movement and author of the bestselling Teaming With… book series. Jeff will join us via Zoom to discuss soil health, the role of bacteria, and practical ways home gardeners can improve plant health.+2

- John Sackett (USDA): Presenting “The Basics of Dirt” based on twenty years of soil survey experience.
- Dr. Vanessa Corrisher-Olson (Texas A&M AgriLife): Discussing soil testing and fertility.
- Dr. Jane Duke (Restoration Ecologist): Sharing soil food web principles applied at a North Texas nature center.
