On July 30, our chapter celebrated National Mothing Week with our first BPTMN Mothing Event at Connemara Meadow, and it was a real treat for all those that attended!
The area had thunderstorms immediately prior to sundown, which helped ratchet down the temperatures from the 100’s to the 80’s that evening. (I must admit it was pretty muggy, but you can’t have everything.)
The early evening rain didn’t deter the mothing faithful from setting up several mothing stations. Several of our chapter members brought their family and friends to the mothing event, which always makes these events special. You can’t beat seeing the wonder and joy in a child’s face when they make a big discovery on a mothing screen.
