About our Speaker:
Bob Mione began volunteering at the Connemara Meadow in Oct 2008. He became the Connemara Meadow Manager in late 2010. His primary responsibility is the restoration of the Meadow to native grasses and forbs. The restoration program is year-round, with most work accomplished between March and late September. Progress is made due to a die-hard group of dedicated fellow volunteers. The Connemara Meadow won the 2023 Keep Texas Beautiful project award.
Bob Mione was in the 2012 Texas Master Naturalist class and became a certified Master Naturalist in 2013. He is a very proud member of the Blackland Prairie Chapter.
