BPTMN Newsletter – July 20, 2025

07/20/2025 by mconnally

Hello Blackland Prairie Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists

Welcome to your freshest update from the Blackland Prairie Master Naturalists! This newsletter is truly “blooming” with information. We’ve got the lowdown from Vicki’s July Meeting Chapter Business slides and a link for the Annual Meeting.

Dive into Edition 62 of “Shaking of the Trees” for Hagerman NWR volunteer opportunities and upcoming “Community Engagement” dates where you can “branch out” and say hello! Discover more about volunteer service milestone surveys with Pamela Flaming and Trent Schultze. Project leader Jean Higgins gives an update on the Plano Parks Workday, and prepare for a “fluttering good time” at the Heard Museum, celebrating Moth Week at the Magical Mothing Event. Our chapter’s Moth Squad will be there with their “bright” ideas and setting up captivating lights for your best iNaturalist photos of the nocturnal world!

You can access our latest newsletter from our Chapter’s Home Page at bptmn.org, click on the “Blackland Prairie Newsletter” image, OR by direct link – https://txmn.org/bptmn/newsletters/
