Please join us via Zoom on November 9 at 7pm to learn more about Ecopsychology. Our guest is Professor Jennifer O’Loughlin-Brooks.
Jennifer O’Loughlin-Brooks is a professor of psychology at Collin College. In this presentation, she will provide insight into the emerging field of ecopsychology which views human well-being as connected to ecology. Jennifer will also overview data from scientific research providing evidence that spending time in natural settings can benefit our physical and psychological health. Lastly, the implications f a recent study with her students exploring the relationship between connectedness to nature, stress, and interest in outdoor learning in undergraduates will be discussed.
