JM Caldwell Park Pollinator Garden in Princeton

Join us at the Caldwell Park Pollinating Garden! Every 2nd Saturday, help Keep Princeton Beautiful with weeding, mulching, and garden prep.

  • Time: 9 AM – 11 AM (Summer: 8 AM – 10 AM)
  • Where: J.M. Caldwell Sr. Community Park, Princeton
  • Bring: Water, tools, sunscreen, and bug spray.

Event:  Workday at Pollinator Garden in J.M. Caldwell Sr Park in Princeton, Texas

Time:  9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Description:  The garden is a funshape with a concrete walkway through the middle of it. The interior of the garden is about 274 square feet in area and the exterior of the garden is about555 square feet in area.

The garden is located to the left of the pavilion, about 350 ft from the pavilion, or if you cut across the grass from the parking lot, 350 ft from the lot. 

Work Plan:  The efforts will entail removing weeds and spreading compost and mulch to improve the soil.  Future work will expand to planting new wildflower plants and seeds.

Location:  J.M. Caldwell St Park
500W College Ave, Princeton, TX 75407

Dress:  Routine dress code for activity in the field: Long-pants, boots/close-toed shoes; long-sleeved shirts are recommended.  Master Naturalists should wear their name badges.

Bring:  Drinking water, gloves, sunscreen, insect repellant.  You may also bring personal hand tools andshovels.  Be sure they are labeled with your name!
