Bird Survey in Downtown Dallas
Help local scientists and conservationists with a bird survey in downtown Dallas. The survey, which takes place from September 8 to November 28, aims to find and identify birds that were unable to successfully navigate the city’s high-rises. The data collected will be used to help future bird populations.
Surveys are conducted on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. During the peak migration period from October 13 to November 15, surveys will also take place on Saturdays. Participants should meet at the Perot Museum parking lot at 6 a.m. and will return to the same location at 8 a.m.
