Wow, what an incredible Saturday. We had our largest turnout yet at the Green Gardens! 💚 We are so grateful to everyone who came out and made this our largest workday ever. Your generosity of time and spirit creates lasting impacts: healthier soil, thriving pollinators, and the joy of native plants taking root in McKinney. 🌱🐝🌸
Volunteers accomplished so much in just a few hours: mulching across multiple beds (we went through a literal truck load!), clearing weeds from the decomposed granite paths and garden beds, creating packets of wildflowers and native tree seeds for distribution, labelling books for the Books & Blooms program, composting with Paulette, and helping prep the Garden for our upcoming Make a Difference Day Planting in October. 🌿💧
