There will be a watch party in Denton and a virtual option.
January 21 @ 10:00 am – 11:15 am
Training opportunity with monarch butterfly expert, Carol Clark. This workshop is designed to give participants the knowledge and confidence they need to teach about Monarch Butterflies in outdoor and other low-tech settings using just two waterproofed posters. The first part will offer an in-depth look at the Monarch Butterfly migration and life cycle, their needs, and the importance of North Texas to this species. The second part is devoted to how to condense that information into a very brief talk, perfect for outdoor spaces like school gardens, nurseries, cemeteries, and information table events. Participants will receive a short script to practice with and information on acquiring their own laminated and mounted poster set.
