Before I became treasurer I volunteered at the Heard and at the Texas Discovery Garden in Dallas….however this treasurer gig takes a bit of time and these days my grandmother duties preclude me from doing much more than that.
I also participate in the citizen science things like the project feederwatch and iNat challenges.
As a result a picture of me sitting at my table entering things in the computer would not be much to see. Ha!
I knew very few people in the chapter when I was asked to be treasurer and I have enjoyed getting to know folks through this position although the on and off again virtual aspects of it have been a little strange.
