Outreach Events need You!

I am so happy to report that we finally have in person opportunities to share our Naturalist message with the public at upcoming events in Allen, Frisco, and McKinney.

Allen Arbor Day Celebration – Oct 30th – 8:30 am to Noon

Location:  Glendover Park

Setup Time: 8:30 am

Event time:  9am – Noon

Volunteers Needed:  4

Outreach Booth with Nature Journaling hands on craft

Frisco Buffalo Stomp_Wildflower Seed Planting – Oct 30^th – 10:30 am to Noon

            Location:  North Meadow at Frisco Commons Park

            Setup Time:  10:30am

Event Time:  11am to Noon

Volunteers Needed:  2

            Outreach Booth

McKinney Wilson Creek Tree Planting Day – Nov 6^th – 7:30 am to 12:30pm

            Location:  McKinney Greens

            Setup Time:  7:30am

Event Time:  8 am to 12:30pm

Volunteers Needed:  4

            Outreach Booth (Nature Journaling craft if supplies are still available)

There is also an opportunity for pre-event volunteer hours on your own schedule and at the location of your choice. This work can be done starting immediately.

• I need volunteers to help prepare the “Envelope Nature Journals” that we will have available for youth at the Tree Planting events above.
