Few birders reach the historic milestone of 10,000 recorded species in the wild, but former diplomat Peter Kaestner did just that. This October, he visits Audubon Dallas to share firsthand accounts from a lifetime in the field—from uncovering the elusive Cundinamarca Antpitta to traversing remote corners of the globe.
Alongside Peter’s talk, attendees can bid on outdoor gear, Cornell Lab courses, and wildlife artwork in a silent auction benefiting chapter conservation initiatives.
