The learning field trips were the best part – I especially enjoyed experiencing and learning about a couple of the rare remnant prairies that we have in the area – Parkhill Prairie and Clymer Meadow were two of my favorites.

Our Tribe’s Fortune 250 Hours – Trent Schultze, Class of 2019
Trent Schultze, a dedicated member of the Class of 2019, proudly achieved his 250 volunteer hours. He earned most of these hours as a trail guide at LLELA, leading monthly nature hikes and assisting with the popular full moon hikes. There’s something truly special about being in the woods or on the trail at night, and Trent’s commitment not only enriches the experiences of countless nature enthusiasts but also exemplifies the spirit of community service.
Our Tribe’s Fortune 250 Hours – Deanna Flanagan, Class of 2024
Deanna Flanagan achieved her 250 service hour milestone as a Master Naturalist, inspired by her mother’s dedication. She earned these hours by assisting the Class of 2025 and leading engaging field trips for first and third graders at the Holifield Outdoor Learning Center.
