Folks have been writing about some of their experiences in the field and on their journeys and a trip with an alligator in the back seat. I understand those stories so well. I remember having a rabbit given to me and I tried to keep it but if finally had to go to the animal shelter. I cleaned that cage so well and had new litter and extra food. Oh it looked so good.

I have really enjoyed learning about the monarchs and other butterflies and moths and this article is about what started the interest. The artwork at the end was inspired by my BPTMN nature walks 🙂
Valerie Dalton’s Favorite Opera Hits

Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller is urging Texans to take extreme precaution when receiving unsolicited seed packets from China. These packets have been mailed to multiple states, including Texas, falsely labeled as jewelry. Residents are advised not to plant the seeds as they could contain harmful invasive species or be otherwise unsafe.
Mike Merchant – Insects in the City blog
I am a stalker of AgriLife guru Mike Merchant. He posted this link and thoroughly enjoyed it. BTW he started his master naturalist journey through BPTMN!
