Wow, what an incredible Saturday. We had our largest turnout yet at the Green Gardens! 💚 We are so grateful to everyone who came out and made this our largest workday ever. Our Heritage Farmstead Native Prairie Garden Project Earns Monarch Waystation Certification.
Our Heritage Farmstead Native Prairie Garden project recently received a Monarch Waystation certification. It took a lot of hard work by many volunteers in our chapter to get the milkweed established and fight off the invasive bindweed that has been choking out more and more of the native pollinator plants over the last few years

My Favorite Things through the Four Seasons: Summer

It may have been the tiredness, but I was sure it was a Barn Owl chasing the last few minutes of spring as it flew toward good hunting grounds.”
Blackland Prairie Chapter receives a 2nd Pollinators for Texas Award from H-E-B and the Texas Master Naturalist Program
