Join us Tuesday evening, June 14, at 7pm when we will dive into “The Search for Another Earth and an Opportunity to Save Our Own” with Dr. David Baker of Austin College. It should be an enriching and fun learning experience for Master Naturalists as well as guests interested in this topic.
Dr. Baker holds the Donald McGregor Chair in Natural Science, chairs and teaches in the Department of Physics and is the Director of the Adams Observatory at Austin College. Dr. Baker’s presentation will look at our greater solar system and, closer to home, climate change here on the Earth. An explorer of extremes on Earth and other planets, Dr. Baker creates awesome learning experiences for all, filled with curiosity and authentic inquiry.
This meeting will be recorded and posted on the BPTMN Vimeo page – https://vimeo.com/bptmn Coinciding with his presentation, Dr. Baker will also lead us on a visit to the Adams Observatory in the Fall. More information on this event will be forthcoming.
