AT: UH Clear Lake Texas Envirothon Teacher Workshop

February 15 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

In person.  Workshop location is Long Acres Ranch, 2335 Richmond Pkwy, Richmond, TX 77469

Texas Envirothon is part of a nationwide educational program with competition objectives for high school students.  The goal is to promote a desire to learn more about the natural environment and developing knowledge and skills to apply the basic principles and practices of resource management and ecology.

This workshop is an opportunity for team advisers, teachers, informal educators, and community members to participate in specialized training and get answers about the current issue, Roots and Resiliency: Fostering Forest Stewardship in a Canopy of Change.

  • Are you training a team to compete in the 2025 Envirothon?
  • Are you a teacher interested in learning how to start a team or gain valuable resources?
  • Are you interested in forest stewardship and how individuals can affect change in their communities?
